We have mobile offices. To make your life easier! Based out of Ozark,
Missouri we serve Greene, Webster and other surrounding counties. There is no big secret in
getting a Psychotherapist (counselor).
All you have to do is ask for help from us no referal from anyone is
needed. We're always told that people didn't know
they could just ask.
People think they have to be referred by a Doctor or DFS has to hook them
up, or that they have to go to a Psychiatrist first. You need to know that a
Psychiatrist can or will prescribes drugs. Psychiatrist also do therapy or
counseling. (therapy and counseling are the same...another word. Talk
therapy is also another term)
A Psychologist is primarily more clinical. He/she
does testing and research. They also do therapy, but are usually more
expensive and harder to schedule. A Counselor, Talk Therapist, Therapist,
Psychotherapist (the same) are what most people want to find. All the parent
or client needs to do is know who is good at helping clients with their
problems and that all they have to do is ask for help. We have hundreds of
referrals we can give you to see how we have helped them. Our typical method is to do a short
FREE session to see if
the client, family whoever and one of us are compatible. If so, then we can
work and try to solve the issues that are making times difficult or
